Wildlife Rescue South Coast Inc
Membership Application Form
Thank you for applying to become a member of Wildlife Rescue South Coast Inc.
WRSC is licenced by NPWS who set the conditions under which we operate and are able to authorise members to care for wildlife.
Before WRSC can authorise you to rescue and care for injured or orphaned wildlife you must undertake training
courses. The majority of caring for native animals occurs in members homes.
Membership is a $30 annual fee for the Primary member, plus a once off joining fee of $30 which
includes attendance at the Introduction to Rescuing Wildlife course. Family members can join for an additional $5 annual fee per person
We also offer a Junior membership to those under the age of 18
Each person applying must complete a separate application form.
If someone in the household is a member of WIRES, please contact the membership officer firstname.lastname@example.org
Native animals are not pets, our NPWS licence conditions state that native animals are to be
rehabilitated and returned to the wild
- All carers and rescuers must be over the age of 18 years by law
- Membership depends on your application being accepted by the WRSC committee. This happens at the
monthly committee meeting. If your application is received after these meetings it may not be accepted
until the following month.
- Our membership year runs from 1 July to 30 June.
- Wildlife Rescue South Coast members must be financial and 18 years and over to be eligible to vote at meetings
If you encounter any difficulties please email email@example.com
